of the <i>perutah</i>,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Which could constitute valid consideration. ');">²</span> whereas the Rabbis held that where the [instrument of betrothal] is both [the foregoing of] a debt and [the giving of] a <i>perutah</i>, she thinks more of the debt [which she is excused].
